Being prepared in an emergency or disaster is a key factor in the outcome for both patients and staff. This session will review the different types of disaster and emergency drills to better prepare all staff and to meet NCCHC accreditation standards. Specific roles of, and coordination between, health care and custody staff will be discussed, as well attendees' experiences with different emergencies, events, or disasters.
