Description

Tuberculosis is a very old disease and, until recently, very little had changed in testing and treatment since the early 1900s. In recent years, new testing, treatments, and guidelines have improved diagnosis, medication compliance, and identification and classification of the bacteria. This presentation will review current TB programs, best practices, and specific cases to demonstrate the importance of early diagnosis and treatment.
