Description

Eye complaints are common in correctional settings, but not all require the same level of intervention. Participants will learn how to effectively triage eye complaints, recognize the difference between emergencies (requiring immediate transfer) and urgencies (requiring timely, but not immediate, evaluation), and educate patients on their eye health while ensuring that serious conditions are identified and treated quickly.
