Description

Mentorships provide individuals and organizations a multitude of benefits including reduced turnover, increased job satisfaction, and a clearer path to promotion, and they act as a safeguard against imposter syndrome and challenges to professional authenticity. This presentation will review recent research on the benefits of mentoring women in corrections as well as current mentorship and support programs available to women working in corrections to encourage further development in the field.
