This session provides participants with a practical framework for identifying, classifying, and reporting adverse events and near misses within the carceral setting, giving participants the knowledge and tools necessary to improve the quality of adverse event reporting and successfully set up an internal program. By reframing reporting as a critical component of quality improvement and patient protection, the session will inspire attendees to actively engage in building safer care environments.
