This presentation reviews the evaluation of substance withdrawal in carceral settings following the Screening, Clinical Assessment, Medical Management, Referral to Care model and guidelines suggested by national organizations. Basic management of withdrawal from alcohol, benzodiazepines, opioids, and stimulants will be reviewed.
