This study evaluates the outcomes of the first graduating cohorts of the Northeast Tennessee Residential Recovery Court program. This program serves as an alternative to incarceration for individuals charged with drug-related, nonviolent crimes. The results of this initial evaluation demonstrate significant positive socioeconomic outcomes for participants as well as reductions in addiction severity.
