Ms. Ava Roush graduated from Walden University in 2015 with a MS in clinical psychology. She is currently employed as the mental health director and behavioral health unit administrator at Lakin Correctional Center, a women's prison in West Virginia. Ms. Roush has seven yearsof experience working with female inmates at all security levels. Her professional interests include using acceptance and commitment therapy for female inmates addressing trauma, and development of behavioral contracts for self-harming female inmates.
