Mr. Spencer Sego is currently a clinical operations specialist with Centurion, LLC. He is part of a team charged with ensuring Centurion facilities are properly prepared and maintain correctional health care accreditation. Mr. Sego began his career as a correctional officer at the age of 19. He earned a nursing degree, which allowed him to perform diverse duties and experience a variety of roles. He also spent eight years with the Arizona Dept of Corrections where he ensured residents of nine facilities received the appropriate health services. Mr. Sego has been a CCHP since 2019 and credits his understanding and ability to support his health care teams and patients directly to his knowledge of NCCHC standards, which set the expectations of an enhanced level of health care.
