Mr. Matt Pate, LMSW, CCHP, is program manager of Pima County Behavioral Health’s Inmate Navigation, Enrollment, Support and Treatment (INVEST) program. He is a licensed social worker and CCHP. In addition to developing INVEST, Mr. Pate implemented a Housing First Program for Pima County administration that opened Section 8 housing opportunities for those in the Pima County Jail. In 2017 he received the 40 Under 40 award presented by the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and his accomplishments in the field of social work have also been recognized through the receipt of the Gabe Zimmerman Memorial Scholarship, FBI Community Service Award, and LULAC Silver Award. In addition, Mr. Pate was recently selected as the 2023 Professional Achievement Award winner by Arizona State University’s School of Social Work.
