Dr. Joshua Houseman is a licensed clinical psychologist who graduated with a PsyD in clinical psychology from La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his internship with the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in Loma Linda, California. Prior to his work with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, he worked in various settings, including a cancer institute and a state psychiatric hospital in New Jersey. Dr. Houseman has worked for the Federal Bureau of Prisons for the past 13 years and has held many positions including Staff Psychologist, Drug Abuse Program Coordinator, and Chief Psychologist. He is currently a Mental Health Treatment Coordinator at the central office. One of his primary duties in this position is conducting psychology autopsies of deaths by suicide throughout the country.
