Dr. Veronica Kwarteng-Amaning's career began at the University of Texas Medical Branch- Galveston where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. As a registered nurse, Veronica served as a clinical leader on the unit making contributions in patient care. Motivated by challenge to improve patient care, she furthered her education at the University of Houston Clearlake, earning a Master?s in Health Care Administration while functioning as a Clinical Operations Administrator. Currently, she holds a PhD from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and serves as the Associate Chief Nursing Officer for TDCJ Hospital Galveston.
