Dr. Lisa Taylor, is an assistant clinical professor in the College of Nursing (CON)-Family Nurse Practitioner/DNP program. Her clinical interest is in improving access to care for minoritized populations and ensuring patients consistently receive evidence-based, equitable, diabetes/endocrinological care. Her scholarship focuses on adaptation of nursing curriculum and pedagogy to address diversity, justice, inclusion, and anti-racism. She is currently utilizing a fellowship from the CON to develop faculty development modules. She is excited to collaborate with several colleagues to adapt an inter-professional educational opportunity into a course that will evolve to include innovative simulation strategies.
