Dr. James F. Munroe, Ed.D., is a licensed psychologist and the Chief Mental Health Officer at SacroSpace, where he creates virtual healing environments for traumatized individuals. With 35 years at the Boston DVA specializing in PTSD, he developed non-stigmatizing approaches to improve access for GWOT Veterans. He co-led Disaster Mental Health at the Boston Red Cross for 15 years and has authored numerous publications on veterans and families. He conducted trauma groups in Massachusetts correctional facilities and received awards including the Sarah Haley Award for Clinical Excellence, the Clara Barton Humanitarian Award, and the Pham Award for Psychology Training.
