Dr. Patricia Schmidt is passionate about education, patient care, and mentoring. She graduated from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Schmidt is board certified in internal medicine, holds additional certification as a clinician educator, and has added qualifications in hospice and palliative care. She received her CCHP-CP credentials in 2023. Working with YesCare, Dr. Schmidt is active in providing company wide leadership as the Chief Medical Officer. Correctional medicine incorporates her skills in primary care internal medicine, hospice and palliative care, and serving special populations. She has experience in all levels of care within the correctional setting and brings that experience to her presentations. Interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary collaboration and collegiality are her strengths.
