Ms. Elizabeth Harris is Director of the Sentinel Patient Safety Organization, an AHRQ-listed PSO focused on improving quality and patient safety in correctional healthcare. She holds dual master’s degrees in Business Administration and Healthcare Administration Leadership, is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and has extensive leadership experience in hospital, clinic, and multi-site healthcare operations. Her past roles include Emergency Room RN and ER Director with experience including Johns Hopkins Hospital, rural health, large healthcare organizations, Vice President of Corporate Quality and Clinical Operations at American Physician Partners, Practice Operations Leader at Ascension, and Vice President of Operations for TeamHealth’s Midwest Northeast Group. Ms. Harris has led large-scale business transformations, improved patient outcomes, streamlined operational processes, and developed innovative care delivery models across diverse service lines. With a foundation as a critical care and emergency nurse, she combines clinical expertise with strategic business acumen to deliver sustainable results.
