Ms. Deborah Ash is a registered nurse, educator, consultant, and nationally recognized speaker with more than 17 years of correctional health care experience. A Certified Correctional Health Professional–Registered Nurse and graduate of Duke University’s Legal Nurse Consultant Program, she has worked in correctional facilities across more than 20 states. Ms. Ash provides consulting, training, and expert analysis related to correctional health care operations and litigation. She is a longtime NCCHC presenter whose work focuses on correctional nursing practice, risk management, and professional development.
