Ms. Aniya Harris is a student researcher and health advocate focused on advancing health equity for underserved populations. Ms. Harris currently serves as a student research assistant in the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences at the University of Southern California, where she collaborates with faculty on projects examining behavioral and social determinants of health, including cancer disparities research. In addition, Ms. Harris works with the USC Dornsife Pre-Health Advisement Office, supporting event planning, wellness initiatives, and peer mentoring for students pursuing health professions. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention and plans to attend medical school. Ms. Harris is committed to addressing community-level cancer disparities, challenging systemic inequities in health care, and promoting health and legal justice for marginalized and underserved populations.
