Dr. Paulette Finander is a board-certified physician in internal medicine and nephrology with extensive experience in correctional health care administration and clinical practice. She has spent more than 13 years providing and managing medical services within the California prison system and previously cared for incarcerated individuals during her residency training in New York City. Dr. Finander’s background includes leadership roles in correctional health care, managed care organizations, and private practice. Her professional interests include chronic disease management, quality improvement, and advancing effective health care delivery within correctional systems. Dr. Finander earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Icahn School of Medicine and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles.
