Ms. Abigail Wiggans is a recent Master of Social Work graduate from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. She serves as a qualified behavioral health professional at the El Paso County Jail in Colorado Springs. During her master's program, Ms. Wiggans completed both field internships in forensic social work, gaining experience in civil and criminal legal settings. At Colorado Legal Services, she provided case management and coordinated social services for low-income clients. During her internship with the Office of the Alternate Defense Counsel, she prepared comprehensive psychosocial histories and mitigation reports for justice-involved individuals. Ms. Wiggans earned a Bachelor of Science in human development and family studies, with a concentration in prevention and intervention sciences and a minor in Spanish, from Colorado State University.
