Ms. Abigail Wiggans is a Master of Social Work candidate at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and a forensic social work intern with the Office of the Alternate Defense Counsel. In this role, she prepares social history and mitigation reports for justice-involved individuals. She previously worked with Colorado Legal Services, providing case management and coordinating social services for low-income clients. Ms. Wiggans earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University. Her professional interests include social justice, equitable access to services, and improving outcomes for individuals involved in the criminal legal system.
