Dr. Melissa Stromberger is a licensed clinical psychologist and is currently the Northern Region Mental Health Auditor and Trainer for the Illinois Department of Corrections. Prior to assuming this position, she was the Psychologist Administrator at a medium security level facility where she had oversight of the mental health services at her facility. Before transferring to the adult division, she was a mental health professional in the juvenile division working with youth with severe mental health issues and sexually abusive behaviors. She is also a licensed sex offender treatment provider and evaluator performing risk assessments and therapy to youth with sexual deviant behaviors.
