Name
408 Implementing a Large-Scale HCV Treatment Program Without an EHR*
Description
Not having an EHR makes implementing a large-scale project challenging. In 2020, the New Mexico corrections department proposed an initiative to eliminate HCV in the prison system. This presentation will discuss how to organize a large pool of candidates, create a secure HCV patient database, and treat large numbers of patients in a system without an EHR. This goal is being accomplished in a cost-effective manner with 340B pricing.
