Mr. Chris Shanley is the Director of Allegheny County Pretrial Services, where he oversees bail administration, behavioral assessment, alcohol highway safety programs, and ARD diversion initiatives. He previously served as Deputy Director, managing policies, daily operations, and the Pretrial Supervision Unit, including probation officers and electronic monitoring. Chris has consulted with jurisdictions nationwide on implementing pretrial services and holds a degree in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Justice from Duquesne University. A recognized leader in the field, he is President of the Pennsylvania Pretrial Services Association and a Master Trainer for the Pennsylvania DUI Association.
