Dr. David Crutchfield graduated from the University of Nevada School of Medicine after retiring from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office in Reno, Nevada after a 13+ year career in detention and law enforcement. Following an emergency medicine residency at the University of California – Davis, he practiced emergency medicine for nearly 25 years before joining Maricopa County Correctional Health Services, first as Assistant Medical Director, then transitioning to Medical Director in 2020.
