Dr. Neal Fisher has been involved in the health care of incarcerated individuals for more than 26 years. He is a proud graduate of Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. In the field, Dr. Fisher is best known for educating correctional health care staff on the care of the incarcerated patient, especially those that are HIV positive and/or Hepatitis C positive. Dr. Fisher is also a vocal advocate of the uniqueness of correctional health care as a career option. He recently retired from his full-time position as Wexford Health Source's Assistant Chief Medical Officer and continues to work as Wexford’s National Correctional Healthcare Consultant. Dr. Fisher is a regular speaker for NCCHC and is available for correctional health care medical consulting.
