Description
Successful implementation of dementia-friendly health care requires collaboration between health care professionals and custody. By addressing the unique challenges associated with dementia care in correctional settings, this framework enables early detection, enhances the quality of life for individuals with dementia, promotes staff and patient well-being and safety, and reinforces the understanding and compassion needed to serve this vulnerable population.
