Description

This session addresses the prevalence of severe and persistent mental illness in the juvenile justice population and the challenges to treatment, and proposes best practices taking resource and environmental limitations into consideration. The presenter will use case studies to demonstrate the complexity of care necessary to adequately serve this population.
