Researchers established a working group of Correctional Health Services physicians to collaboratively develop standardized mental health care protocols specifically tailored for individuals in correctional centers in British Columbia. The protocols serve not only as a guide for health care delivery but also as a framework for addressing broader systemic challenges and prioritizing public health and safety.
