This session explores how existentialist approaches can help justice-involved patients make sense of their circumstances and find purpose amid adversity. Presenters will review evidence-based practices and identify populations that may benefit most from existential frameworks. Attendees will gain tools to support individuals facing loss of control, uncertainty, and isolation - common experiences in correctional settings - through meaning-making and values-based interventions.
