Mr. Ian Mearns grew up in a home rife with domestic violence and trauma. Once he left, he spent four years in the Marines including two tours in Iraq. He then began his journey in education which led him to earn a MA in interdisciplinary arts & sciences, a MSW, and a EdD. He is currently a PhD student in a social welfare program. While attending school , Mr. Mearns worked full time in mental health and social services for more than ten years. He has dedicated his life to helping others who have experienced trauma.
