Assistant Chief Bosquez is a Certified Master Peace Officer, Master Jailer, and Mental Health Peace Officer who was appointed to the Harris County Sheriff's Office Detention Command in 2023 by Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. He has previously served as Chief Deputy in Atascosa County where he was named Deputy of the Year after negotiating the peaceful surrender of a suicidal suspect. Assistant Chief Bosquez's experience with the Texas Commission on Jail Standards and law enforcement equips him with extensive knowledge of corrections procedures and policies necessary to ensure the safety and health of everyone located in the Harris County Jail.
