Ms. Leslie Serrano-Class is the Quality Program Manager of Physician Correctional Services Corporation. She has more than 17 years of experience as a Quality Improvement Specialist supervising and implementing continuous quality improvement initiatives at correctional facilities in Puerto Rico with male and female populations, including juveniles. She has extensive experience developing strategies to improve health services, designing epidemiological, process and outcome studies, and resolving issues to improve the quality of services. Likewise, she has extensive knowledge in the development and evaluation of policies, manuals and protocols required for the provision of services of the different penitentiary departments and programs. Her primary focus is to ensure that interdepartmental objectives are well defined and quality tools are incorporated to manage projects effectively through interdisciplinary healthcare teams. She obtained a Bachelor's in Natural Sciences, Biology at the University Campus of Río Piedras, Puerto Rico with cum laude recognition. Further on, she obtained an MPH in Epidemiology from the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Science Campus. She is always willing to help the most vulnerable population, train other professionals and apply the highest standards of quality of services.
