Dr. Rain Carei is a Psychologist 4 at Washington Corrections Center for Women (WCCW) in Gig Harbor, WA. She practices and supervises based on a local clinical scientist model, integrating research and clinical work. This is her 15th year at WCCW. Through leadership and passion, Dr. Carei has helped WCCW gain recognition as a peer-to-peer resource (one of 10 in the U.S.) by the CSG Justice Center. She is currently engaged in research evaluating women's pathways through prison. Her work in WA DOC has helped to facilitate successful grants focused on increasing co-occurring treatment and improving care for incarcerated women.
