Dr. Shykina Brown is a licensed clinical psychologist in Connecticut and an assistant professor of clinical psychiatry at the Yale University School of Medicine. She also directs the Yale Juvenile Justice Mental Health Program, providing clinical oversight of mental health services across state-funded sites, including two juvenile detention centers and two community residential programs. Dr. Brown is experienced in conducting a wide variety of psychological assessments and providing individualized psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults. She has extensive training in working with individuals with serious mental illness and developing treatment plans for clients with complex needs, with a focus on correctional mental health.
