Amanda Brown is a dedicated mental health professional, domestic violence and suicide survivor, and passionate advocate for healing and justice. Originally from Chicago and now based in Nashville, she holds degrees in African American Studies, Family Child Studies, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and Restorative Justice. Ms. Brown has worked with maximum-security prisons and currently serves as a Community Reintegration Specialist supporting justice-impacted youth and returning citizens. She is on the board of two nonprofits: Recycle & Reinvest, which promotes sustainability and employment, and Nashville Peacemakers, which empowers youth and supports grieving mothers. A sought-after speaker, Ms. Brown has presented at numerous universities and conferences. She also practices part-time with Black Mental Health Village. As a mother of three neurodivergent children, she is a fierce advocate for inclusivity.
