Mr. Crayman Harvey serves as the agency director for the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center in Richland County. In this role, he plans, coordinates, and directs all personnel, programs, operations, and activities of the detention center; ensures compliance with standards of the South Carolina Department of Corrections and all governing regulations; and performs related law enforcement as required. Mr. Harvey also is an adjunct criminal justice professor at a technical college and an independent jail consultant. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in administration and justice and is Lean Six Sigma certified.
