Mr. Ernest McDonnell, Jr., is the MAT and community manager in the St. Louis County Department of Public Health. He has worked for Saint Louis County for 14 years, previously serving in the Department of Justice Services and for the Saint Louis County Police Department. In his current role, Mr. McDonnell helps people with opioid use disorder start on their recovery journey through the medication-assisted treatment program. He received the Good Apple Award from the nonprofit Missouri Appleseed for his work implementing Medicaid enrollment in the county jail.
