Ms. Barbara Hallisey is a Clinical Social Worker with 35+ years clinical and administrative experience in the behavioral health field working across a variety of settings: hospital, community behavioral health, Veterans Administration, residential, crisis services, area authority and managed care. She has developed and managed jail liaison, CIT and LEAD programs to enhance LEO and LEA understanding and response to behavioral health issues. She is a passionate advocate for evidence-based and recovery-oriented community behavioral health services. She manages a team of clinicians, coordinators and health specialist working with local prisons and jails to assist individuals with serious mental illness to successfully reenter the community after significant periods of incarceration.
