Dr. Tammy D. Seeker is a program coordinator for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission state hospitals system and a former program supervisor with the Texas Juvenile Justice Department. She also serves as an adjunct instructor at Angelo State University.
Dr. Seeker holds a Doctor of Social Work in clinical social work from Angelo State University, a Master of Social Work in direct practice with a concentration in mental health from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a bachelor’s degree in social psychology from Park University. She is a Texas-licensed clinical social worker and licensed chemical dependency counselor. Her professional experience includes behavioral health programming, substance use treatment, forensic and correctional behavioral health, trauma-informed care, and workforce development within state hospitals and juvenile justice settings. Dr. Seeker is a member of the Society of Addiction Psychology, the American Board of Clinical Social Work, and other relevant organizations.
