Ms. Michelle Adams is a licensed clinical psychologist in California with expertise in correctional and forensic psychology. She earned her PhD in clinical psychology with an emphasis in forensic psychology from APA-accredited Fielding Graduate University. She completed an APA-accredited forensic postdoctoral fellowship with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health at Twin Towers Correctional Facility and UCLA Harbor Medical Center. As a clinician, clinical supervisor, and quality assurance auditor, she has more than 20 years of experience serving incarcerated individuals in prisons, jails, state hospitals, psychiatric hospitals, psychiatric emergency rooms, and locked residential mental health treatment facilities. She has also served criminal courts as a forensic evaluator, expert, and consultant, and contributed to the field as a researcher and educator.
