Ms. Erin Lockwood is a licensed professional counselor with experience in correctional and forensic behavioral health settings. She completed her internship at Williamson County Juvenile Services and later worked with the Travis County Sheriff’s Office as a behavioral health counselor, specializing in crisis intervention and risk assessment within a large county jail. Most recently, she served as a case manager with Capital Area Private Defender Service, a managed assigned counsel program providing holistic defense services to indigent residents of Travis County, Texas. Her professional interests include best practices in mental health documentation across disciplines and care settings. Ms. Lockwood holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Edward’s University, where she received the 2022 Safe Connections Professional Development Award. She was also a scholarship recipient at the NCCHC 2023 Spring Conference. Trained in child-centered play therapy, she maintains a private psychotherapy practice.
