Ms. Marisa Personius is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Georgia and a certified correctional health professional–mental health and certified clinical trauma professional. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Mercer University and a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from the Mercer University School of Medicine. She has provided mental health services in outpatient, inpatient, and correctional settings for 21 years. Her correctional mental health career began in 2015 as a counselor at Central State Prison. She later served as mental health unit manager at the facility and, in August 2021, was promoted to assistant program manager of mental health and dental for Centurion’s Georgia contract.
