Dr. Melissa Caldwell is an award-winning clinical-forensic psychologist with more than 30 years of correctional experience. She serves as chief behavioral health officer at Freedom Behavioral Health, Inc., where she leads a team of qualified mental health professionals across 22 states. She holds dual NCCHC certifications as a certified correctional health professional–mental health and an advanced certified correctional health professional. She was the 2022 recipient of the NCCHC Edward A. Harrison Award of Excellence in Leadership.
