Mr. Alejandro Ramirez Cano has served as an Analyst with the Texas Juvenile Justice Department since 2022. Like many in the field of public service, he’s made helping people his life’s mission; specifically, he’s passionate about collaborating with practitioners to leverage data, generating insights that make positive, tangible impacts. Since starting, he has engaged in several research projects, telling meaningful stories that have been presented at both the national and international level. These include sharing the experiences of incarcerated youth with capital offenses, and addressing evolving challenges in juvenile justice (such as Adverse Childhood Experiences, mental health, and educational barriers).
