Mr. Jeffrey B. Appiagyei is a doctoral student in Informatics with a Health Informatics emphasis at the University of Missouri’s Institute for Data Science and Informatics. He holds a Master of Science degree and is a certified Project Management Professional. His research focuses on developing interpretable artificial intelligence systems for vulnerable populations in clinical and justice settings, including teledermatology, predictive risk modeling, and natural language processing applications in mental health care. Mr. Appiagyei collaborates with state agencies and health care partners to develop data-driven solutions that improve outcomes, access to care, and decision-making for justice-involved populations.
