People who experience incarceration face an increased likelihood of adverse health outcomes such as infection, injury, violence, and suicide. To promote healthy behaviors and health literacy, Baylor College of Medicine students worked with Harris County Jail to design and implement an infectious disease prevention curriculum. This roundtable will discuss the initiative and its results.
