Adolescents often face challenges in accessing medical and psychiatric treatment services as they transition back into the community after a period of incarceration. Health care professionals working with youth during the reentry process have a unique opportunity to help change patients' trajectory by providing trauma-responsive, culturally humble, and flexible treatment programming that is guided by the evidence and integrated into routine program development in juvenile facilities.
