Ms. Evyn Keating is a second-year medical student at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She holds a BA from Middlebury College and is interested in pursuing a career in psychiatry, with particular interests in child & adolescent psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, and addiction medicine. Over the summer, she provided research assistance to Dr. Lowenhaupt in support of establishing an outpatient clinic for justice- and welfare-involved youth. She also leads an elective course at Brown, "Incarceration and Health," where she collaborates with local experts to educate her peers on the intersection of health care and the carceral system.
