Description
This presentation will introduce the whole-health approach to HIV care being utilized at the Cuyahoga County Corrections Center and explore the vital role of nonclinical peer navigators in providing sexual health education and STI testing and ensuring ongoing health support postrelease. Attendees will learn about encouraging 2024 data that demonstrate significant increases in point-of-care testing and improved access to care, highlighting how tailoring protocols to incarcerated individuals has led to remarkable health outcomes.
