Ms. Asiya Abdul-Alim is a committed advocate for justice-involved individuals. In her current role she facilitates sexual health education classes and provides testing for both hepatitis C and HIV. Ms. Abdul-Alim's educational journey began in Seattle, Washington, where she earned a degree in applied behavioral science from Seattle Central College and a Master of Arts in policy studies from the University of Washington. Currently she is enrolled at Franklin University, working diligently towards a doctoral degree in health administration. In addition to her advocacy work, Ms. Abdul-Alim is an accomplished writer and a best-selling author of the book "She's a Boss." She has played a crucial role in collaborating with the Cuyahoga County Office of Reentry to promote and create second-chance opportunities for justice-involved individuals. Ms. Abdul-Alim believes that providing opportunities for growth and improvement is essential for fostering rehabilitation and reducing recidivism.
